Just saw this movie. Found it thoroughly enjoyable. Very anime in story, visuals, pace. Very interesting to see all the anime conventions translated into (semi) live action.
Oh and it was never released in US, and isnt on netflix, so if you want to see it, tell me.

This is a musical directed by one of japan's goriest horror film directors. Not much gore, but this film sure is bizarre. The songs are pretty catchy too.

Watched this tonight. This is a really good movie. One of those movies that really make me feel something. Talks a lot about memories, change, dreams. Highly reccommend it.
Why is it that all the japanese movies I watch are so good, yet most american movies are crap?

Saw this tonight. Really good movie. sort of a fight club kind of feel, but more mature, without the forced humor and overt cynicism. This movie is very subtle. Its a thinker. Dvd also has an hour and a half documentary about the directors philosophy as it relates to the creation of the film.
