I use Blue Dot to keep my FaceBook profile up to date with stuff I'm finding on the web. By joining Blue Dot, you can drag a Dot This! button to your toolbar. Click the button whenever you want to share (and comment on) a web page (funny video, book I'm reading, event, etc.).
Now, here's the cool part. In facebook, you can import these notes automatically into your facebook profile so your friends can see your "dots" in their mini-feed. And the formatting looks great cause Blue Dot makes it easy to include a thumnail image from the web site.
To import your dots to Facebook go to:
http://facebook.com/editnotes.php
then type:
http://bluedot.us/users/USERNAME/rss
