- About Me :
- I'm a 36 year old college student, studying digital media design and production. In Nov. of 06, I created a simple website, Society for the Easily Amused, which is hosted on Wetpaint.com. The SEA site is a "just for fun" place for my less net savvy friends to visit to see what I've found on the web. As a web surfing junkie I find social bookmarking handy and really think it will continue to impact the way people find information on the net.

An absolutely exquisite program from TAL. Act one is about an American businessman that brought 52 Indian men to the US, only to abuse their rights and how a sympathetic neighbor helped to set things right for the men.
Act two is about competing news programs. One reporter choses not to take up the story, after seeing how it may impact a man's life beyond the ratings race.
Quoted: This American Life, presented by Chicago Public Radio, is an award-winning radio program as well as a television program on the Showtime network. Hosted by Ira Glass, we feature first-person stories and short fiction pieces that are touching, funny, and surprising. Regular contributors include David Sedaris, Sarah Vowell, David Rakoff, Dan Savage, John Hodgman, Jonathan Goldstein, and Chris Ware.

Fortunately, many of the things dreamed up by Hugo Gernsback, (Publisher of Popular Mechanics), such as the topless ladies' swimsuit, were widely adopted. - petersigrist - 26 days ago1 FaverViewed: 14 Times
