    Amazon.com: The Debt to Pleasure: A Novel: Books: John Lanchester

    Speaking of books, this is one of the best I've read in a while. Part fictional autobiography, part cook cook, part mystery. The narrator is one of the most hilariously pretentious I've ever encountered. Genius.
