what bodes well for seattle does not bode well for the book world. the thought of starbucks and costco as literary tastemakers kinda makes me want to vomit.

true. although, despite how extensive the t system is, a very large percentage of people in boston drive because the t is so unreliable. i was honestly very surprised by how well boston was ranked, especially considering that cambridge was listed separately.
