Lets take a look at the negatives surrounding the Lions' nine draft picks:
Quoted: (1) Cherilus is more of a developmental prospect in our opinion... (2) you wouldn't think he could be an NFL linebacker; he lacks ideal size, doesn't have great range and can be a liability in man coverage... (3) Smith can dance in the backfield too much and he's a little bit of an upright runner, so he takes some big hits... (4) he doesn't have great size or the frame to get substantially bigger. He also has to learn to shed blocks quicker... (5) Avril doesn't have great size and plays with a narrow base, so he has problems holding his ground when teams run at him... (6) Moore is an undersized receiver who doesn't have great top-end speed... (7) Felton isn't a dominant lead blocker and will not put linebackers on their backs. He isn't an explosive open-field runner either... (8) The biggest knock on him is that he's vastly undersized for the interior defensive line, which could mean that teams will have success running at him... (9) There are some durability concerns, though, due to a knee injury. Does not change direction adequately.
This season is going to be *totally* different than last season.

I will never understand competitive eating, but I continue to be fascinated (and slightly grossed out) by it...

I would like to see Safin make it deep in the second week. He's always had the talent and the game...just not enough consistency.
1 FaverViewed: 3 TimesQuoted: The former world number one Marat Safin won through to his first Grand Slam fourth round in almost two years this evening. In near-darkness on No.1 Court, the man who beat Novak Djokovic built on that success with a thrilling win over the No. 29 seed Andreas Seppi 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4. He will face Stanislas Wawrinka in the last 16.
