Good news. I hope he can adapt his spread option to a pass-heavy variety for the next couple of years so as to preserve the career of Ryan Mallett. I think like many Michigan fans, at the very least I am just happy to see some radical change in the program.
Quoted: West Virginia's Rich Rodriguez, who met with U-M president Mary Sue Coleman and athletic director Bill Martin on Friday in Toledo, has accepted the Michigan coaching job, replacing retiring coach Lloyd Carr. Associate athletic director Bruce Madej confirmed to a Free Press report this afternoon that Rodriguez would be the Wolverines' 17th football coach. Blogs video about Maverick John McCain for President 2008 IN Michigan. Maverick John McCain won MI in the 2000 Primary Campaign for President. Michigan is a purple state...a swing state. Underdog that he is, John McCain should do well here on General Election Day, November 4 2008 and has an excellent chance of winning the 17 Electoral Votes. Despite being the underdog in the 2008 Presidential Race for the White House, he has an excellent chance of being our next President of the United States as does Barack Obama.
