Apparently Tom hasn't seen The Next Karate Kid.
Quoted: TOM CRUISE is preparing for take-off - after he was reportedly approached to star in a sequel to 1986 hit movie TOP GUN. The actor has been asked to reprise his role as cocky fighter-pilot Maverick, 22 years after the first film. A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "The idea is Maverick is at the Top Gun school as an instructor - and this time it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot."
Tom, every time you make a film these days, you're unsafe. I don't like this idea because it's dangerous.

I couldn't agree more. This movie annoyed the hell out of me, but redeemed itself enough in the final 10 mins to move from "that sucked" to "I don't understand why it won any awards or why people liked it so much".
Quoted: Today we're bringing you an abridged version of the screenplay for Oscar winner Juno, as provided by Rod Hilton, creator of The-Editing-Room.com.

"Yes, and you better start talking like that too or you'll have no place in the movie, Dwight."RAINN WILSON

Holy shit. I did not expect to see that when I brought up the CNN front page. That sucks.
Does this mean he becomes our James Dean? Because I never thought River Phoenix really cut it.
Quoted: Actor Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday of a possible drug overdose in a Lower Manhattan apartment, the New York Police Department said.

Interesting read, especially the portion where they discuss writers defecting and going "financial core" in the guild in order to get back to work before the strike is over.
If these predictions are accurate, its going to get much, much worse before it gets better for the viewing public.
Quoted: Here's how the grim screenplay might read: The WGA and AMPTP break off negotiations on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, a day that will live in infamy. The AMPTP reaches an agreement with the much less militant Directors Guild of America in January 2008. Responding to the deal with the DGA, the WGA and the equally activist Screen Actors Guild band together and declare all-out war against the studios in February. The two guilds plan a massive unified labor action to bring Hollywood to its knees on June 30, 2008, the day the SAG contract expires.

In response to my previous dot:
There is a God, and he is just.
Quoted: Jessica Simpson is ready to strip naked in a Hollywood movie. The blonde beauty wants to be taken seriously as an actress and believes baring all is the best way to earn the respect of Tinseltown, even if it goes against her family's wishes.
Also, I highly doubt that ArizonaMoms.com wanted their ads to appear in this context. It's a bit misleading.

If this is indeed the case, I think we can call it even. I'll abandon my quest to punch Morgan Spurlock in the face (and Todd Jones for looking like Morgan Spurlock), and he can turn Bin Laden over to authorities.
Quoted: 'Super Size Me' documentary maker Morgan Spurlock has reportedly done what thousands of U.S. troops have been unable to do - find terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden.

Da Vinci Code 2: Electric Boogaloo!! Hopefully they give him a haircut.
Quoted: Actor Tom Hanks, director Ron Howard and screenwriter Akiva Goldsman will reunite February in Europe for “Angels & Demons.” Variety says Goldsman turned it into a sequel, even though the book is author Dan Brown's prequel to “The DaVinci Code.”

Yeah, right. No one noticed? I'm sure NFL teams regularly watch 4 year-old movies on team flights. This smells like a prank.
Quoted: On the Patriots' team flight to Cincinnati no one noticed the in-flight movie, the 2003 Al Pacino film "The Recruit" also starred Tom Brady's ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. As soon as her name appeared in the opening credits, someone reportedly had the movie replaced.

Evidently Dane Cook has a burgeoning emo puss-pop music career on the horizon. This is either great viral marketing on Dane Cook's part, or comedy was a means to an end for his true childhood dream: selling out.
Quoted: Bestweekever.tv couldn't help but listen to the newest Dane Cook single, "Forward". We loved it so much we made a video for it.

A public experiment that was better in theory than in practice: "In the end, the restrooms, installed in early 2004, had become so filthy, so overrun with drug abusers and prostitutes, that although use was free of charge, even some of the city’s most destitute people refused to step inside them."
1 FaverViewed: 3 TimesQuoted: After spending $5 million, Seattle officials decided to close the city’s five automated public toilets, which had become filthy and costly.
