Is anyone listening to this guy? Honestly, I can't think of worse timing for such a comparison. Also Drew, I think Sheldon might be turning towards Obama. He keeps asking me questions and for links about information on his policies,
Quoted: Here's what McCain has to say about the wonders of market-based health reform:
Quoted: "Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in BANKING, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation."

You may have missed the McCain-Palin town hall that took place in Grand Rapids on Wednesday. It certainly wasn't talked about on television a whole lot. So here is what the country's leading energy expert had to say about domestic energy production:
Quoted: But when asked how she would help keep any new domestic oil produced in the United States, Palin gave a less-than-well-articulated non-answer:
Quoted: "Oil and coal? Of course, it's a fungible commodity and they don't flag, you know, the molecules, where it's going and where it's not. But in the sense of the Congress today, they know that there are very, very hungry domestic markets that need that oil first," Palin said. "So, I believe that what Congress is going to do, also, is not to allow the export bans to such a degree that it's Americans that get stuck to holding the bag without the energy source that is produced here, pumped here. It's got to flow into our domestic markets first."

I don't like these fields. Not because of lead, but because youth soccer players these days are spoiled by them and frequently complain about "bumps" whenever they have to play on grass.
*grumble*... and we walked uphill both ways... *grumble*
Quoted: The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is looking into the possible health hazards of lead in artificial turf installed at schools, parks and stadiums across the country.

Looking at this page it appears Mike Lupica writes about politics more often than I would expect. I only know him from his sports columns and his appearances on ESPN's The Sports Reporters.
He is pretty harsh on both Bill and Hillary.
Quoted: Obama is supposed to be the elitist of this campaign and Sen. Clinton is a shot-and-beer girl who remembers hunting with her grandpa and remembering just in time for the Pennsylvania primary how devoted she is to the Second Amendment. Now that we know how much Sen. Clinton loves guns, it can't be long before she changes her Bosnia story again and tells us that when the snipers opened up on her that day, she started firing back.

So either Patrick Swayze is dead in five weeks or he is filming a new cheerleading movie. Looks like Abe Vigoda, Jaleel White and Alan Thicke need to make some room in the "wait, no seriously, is he dead or alive?" club.
Quoted: And an insider on the set of his unnamed new film tells an unknown celebrity blogger that Swayze appears to be in good health, stating, "Patrick has been at rehearsals for a new cheerleading movie at a Century City studio frequently... and he definitely does not look like he has five more weeks of life left… I'm not sure of his medical condition, but, if he is gravely ill, he is hiding it very well."

I think this guys needs to go back and watch Shawshank one more time. Six blocks!? Are you effing kidding me? If the surrounding area is laid out like any other prison I have ever seen, he could probably see it from the apartment's window.
Quoted: Officials said Espinosa and Blunt escaped by digging a hole through the cinderblock wall of their adjoining cells, and hid the hole by using posters of bikini-clad women... Acting on a tip, authorities found Espinosa about 9 p.m. Tuesday in an apartment six blocks from the jail, said James Plousis, U.S. Marshal for New Jersey. Espinosa was alone in the residence, lying on a couch.

This appears to be good news for Obama.
Quoted: "Turnout is absolutely huge and towns are starting to get concerned that they may not have enough ballots," Scanlan said. "We are working on those issues. Everything else seems to be going smoothly."... According to Scanlan, the ballot strain seems to be on Democratic ballots, which suggests that the undeclared voters are breaking for the Democratic primary. New Hampshire Secretary of State William Gardner predicted that 90,000 undeclared voters would vote in the Democratic primary compared to 60,000 voting in the Republican primary.

It is meant to portray factual information, not the author's opinions (except where so stated).
