As far as I am concerned, these highlights should be a part of the package on Sportscenter every Tuesday morning. This show was everything I hoped it would be. They did an excellent job of recapturing the over the top machismo from the male gladiators, especially with Wolf, Titan and Toa.
NBC.com has the entire episode available for free.

Nice.
Quoted: A Charleston, W.Va., radio personality has been suspended indefinitely for his enthusiasm over football coach Rich Rodriguez landing the Michigan job, the Charleston Daily Mail is reporting. Coach Kidd, a Michigan native, hosts a morning talk show on Electric 102.7 FM. On Wednesday, after playing the Wolverines' fight song, "Hail to the Victors," for the fourth time, Kidd was asked to step away from the microphone. "Basically, it boils down to insubordination," Wade Hill, the station's program manager, was quoted as saying in the newspaper. "He was just taking it a little too far."

Quoted: Sources familiar with discussions between the Tigers and Florida Marlins offered conflicting reports today on a possible trade involving Tigers prospects Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller in exchange for the Marlins' powerful third baseman, Miguel Cabrera, and left-hand pitcher Dontrelle Willis.
Peter Gammons just appeared on SportsCenter to say that this is a done deal pending physicals and should be announced yet tonight.
And Cabrera has allegedly dropped 10-15 lbs already this offseason. Wow. Dave Dombrowski for President.
Apparently this will be a six-for-two deal.

I don't know why I hate Mike Williams so much, but I think it is in part due to Sean Salisbury telling everyone during the 2007 NFL Draft how he was going to move to TE and revive his career in Oakland. Then going on to say how his lack of passion for football was due entirely to the Lions and their organization, and that getting back to his USC roots with wunderkind Lane Kiffin was going to fix everything.
Suck it Salisbury.
Quoted: It's hard to believe how wrong the Detroit Lions -- and a whole lot of draft analysts -- were about Mike Williams. Williams, the wide receiver who had trouble dropping weight but no trouble at all dropping footballs, has been released by the Raiders, Pro Football Talk is reporting.

Since I'm not playing real fantasy football this year (need to focus on fantasy baseball, I'm terrible at football), I might have to try The Onion's Fantasy Football league :)
