I bought the album Incredibad by Lonely Island this weekend and quickly fell in love with Ras Trent, only to find that it too was an SNL Digital Short. This proves how far I've come in my opinion on Andy Samberg. Space Olympics is still my favorite.

My dad got interviewed by WZZM about this last night. My parents are one of a couple families that lived on this street back then and still live there now. My mom was really active with the victim's mom and the local police about forming a neighborhood watch and making sure anyone who saw anything new where to report it. She just happened to be out running errands when the news reporter knocked on the door.

The guy was 40 at the time of the rape and the girl was just 13. The incident was a mess in part because of the details. It happened in the middle of the night while the girl, her parents and the family dog were home, leading a lot of people to wonder if the whole truth had been told. Much of the neighborhood was angry with the sheriff's department about the skepticism they seemed to show.

So it was awesome to hear that the family was vindicated and this a-hole is probably facing life in prison.
