We met Jesse Rutherford at Maker Faire in Austin - not only was he a cool guy to meet, he gave us a bunch of CdS photocells to play with. New-Old Stock (NOS) these things are hard as hen's teeth to find, but Jesse has a supply. Excellent!

The bobbin (back) thread is conductive, top thread is not. Conductive thread pads are added & LEDs are soldered to thread pads.

Excellent side note to the work we are doing for Maker Faire in Austin.
