It showed up in my faves, but I couldn't find the fave of yours. So I just refaved it to comment.
Anyway...that article was almost depressing. I don't think I would count myself among those kiddults. It really doesn't seem like me.
I remember you talking about the sex part. That was quite shocking. I never really thought about how much sex my friends are having. (maybe b/c I simply suspected they weren't having all that much...but shhhhhhh!)
And the rape part.....that was surprising and depressing. On one hand, I can look at my male brain and see where it's coming from, but it's still sad. I mean...there's a reason the phrase "rape and pillage" exist. Maybe you could say that in the phrase "rape" means the alternate definition of "destory," but history is littered with too many examples of the conquering force coming and raping all the women.
Anyway....good article, even if a bit depressing.
Thanks

Was driving me batty that FF was always starting maximized and every new window was also maximized. It took a bit of searching, but eventually I found the right key words that led me here.
The trick noted in the last post of the thread worked, much to my disbelief.

Unfortunately, they removed the option from the preferences. So I went to find out how to change it to how I liked.

It paraphrases the book really well and gives some insights into a difficult subject: word-of-mouth advertising.

It's not trying to justify my choice...but here is the article I talked about tonight - with the list of companies making revenue using .net.

The title is blatant dramatization at it's best.
Regardless, the article is pretty good. It talks about how surfing the web could be changing the way, through "practice," we think and absorb information.
How the web's tendency to promote quick transitions, easy information, and skimming text is breaking us of the ability to absorb longer, more in-depth information.
As a test, he makes the article pretty long, but overall it's worth the read.
Course, I must admit....about 3/4 of the way through it, there was some stuff that I found kinda boring...
...so I skimmed it.

Just a cool trick...
I like having the date on the Menu bar....I always know what day of the week it is, but I never know what day of the month it is. So with this, I replace the former with the latter

Dunno....
This seems very Verizon-esque....
This was a great feature! Apple understands that business doesn't trump features, and now they remove a great feature for AT&T to feel safer about it all?
Dunno....

You must be Cadwag's friend before you can comment on this Fave....I think I've seen this before. Sure you haven't showed me this already?
Maybe....
think Travis showed it to me once....then I stumbled across it again, but I couldn't find a dot on it so I made a new one for you.
Btw, the dot search engine blows nuts....so there is a distinct possibility I just couldn't find it.
