i have been arguing a lot with friends about whether or not america's economy will stay strong next year. i found that we all kind have double standard; so is Chinese media!

China, no. 1 in the medal table, has gotten 94 gold, 52 silver, 23 bronze medals sofar in the 15th Asian Games(Doha, 2006), surpassing the second place, Japan, by 65 gold medals. The government celebrates its big victory through media and claims that this victory proves China's development and puts the country in the glare of world attention and admire. well... is it really the truth? this arthor argues that the number of medals does not mean anything but "vigor" which helps a country gain temporary "hit points".

it caught my attention cos i m trying to figure out the answer to this question..
