some information on the potentially upcoming Star Trek XI. Apparently they're planning on doing this one 170 years before Kirk's show, and they're also claiming not to be making it an Enterprise spin-off. Apparently they're going to take a totally blank slate approach to the series and the "future history" of Earth. I'm not sure that without Patrick Stewart it's going to be any good, but who knows. This movie was, whether or not you like to believe in data, a well made movie. A bit "look at me I'm Al Gore at times", but on the whole worth watching.

Letterman's become a real politico lately... Aside from this video, he's made some serious jabs at McCain's campaign. FYI, Obama is on his show tonight!
1 FaverViewed: 9 TimesQuoted: "We are dead meat," said David Letterman last night in the midst of a lengthy rant on global warming. He blamed a lack of leadership over the last several decades. He also said he didn't think that little steps like reusing party toothpicks or turning lawn clippings into mulch could possibly help.
