It would appear that Zune might be a viable alternative to the Ipod. I'd be especially impressed, I think, with being able to send/receive video signals between the Zune and my PC.

Writely.com is Google's early attempt at taking on Microsoft Word. Has some nice features like document tags (a la Flickr), publish-to-blog, and the ability to save as PDF and RSS. Otherwise it's standard fare online word processing like you see on Blogger or CMS systems like Joomla.
