Saw this magazine mentioned and lauded in HOW BUILDINGS LEARN. It seems to be the definitive ongoing help for those restoring and repairing old houses.
Quoted: From the publisher of Old-House Journal magazine, Old-House Journal Online is strictly about renovating, restoring, decorating and maintaining homes built before 1960. It provides practical content on the how-to of renovation, restoration, and preservation for both serious homeowners and professionals. Content includes a complete guide to restoration products and services, active chat boards, old-house real estate ads, classified ads for old-house items, historic house plans, preservation how-to, links to leading restoration trade shows, and recent editorial from the magazine itself.

Hall uses language as a friend, as an ally, and as a set of tools he knows how to use under many circumstances. While he has been compared to Frost, he is - in my opinion - much deeper and broader.
