I saw an article about this in an old issue of SOUTHWEST ART. It looked fascinating. Located on San Juan Island, it is open year round and the photographs look intriguing and beautiful.

Donald Hall, the in-coming poet laureate, is one of my favorite poets, and a distinct improvement over the outgoing poet laureate, Ted Kooser. Hall uses language as a friend, as an ally, and as a set of tools he knows how to use under many circumstances. While he has been compared to Frost, he is - in my opinion - much deeper and broader.
