Couple of Angel vs. Devil game proofs that the angel can win even if he can only jump two squares. I've started digging into Kloster's proof. Seems accessible by a layman but I haven't finished out all the details yet.
Angel vs. Devil is a "game" invented by John Conway mentioned in "Games of No Chance". I scare quote "game" here because the angel wins by being able to play forever. In other words, the angel really wins by giving a proof that the devil can never stop him. Not a concept I've seen in any games put out by Milton Bradley recently.
