Everett dropped, Broussard to Seattle for Shin-Soo Choo. Historical OPS numbers (BB vs Everett) are similar, but BB has the (huge) edge this season, .880 vs. .657. Certainly an upgrade at the DH position.

Not a bad little deal, best to get something for EG while we can. I think it's good for EG too (a nice guy, despite his struggles this year). I think based on the AL dominance of the NL he'll have a better chance throwing against them. Being in the same division as St. Louis though, he'll be getting his fair share of Pujols :P
