An article documenting some hands-on time with the PS3. No surprises here for me. Games will not, for the most part, be rendered in 1080p (they'll be internally rendered at 720p like Xbox 360 titles), and its technical advantages over the Xbox 360 are fairly minimal in practice.

The PS3 is a cancer-fighting, protein folding rock star. With Microsoft trying to push the 360 price into the PS3 zone (sans built-in wireless and Blu-ray, of course), does this begin to factor into a purchase decision?
Quoted: The Playstation 3 is indeed dominating the charts; as of this writing, the PS3 is responsible for a whopping 72 percent of the computing power in the entire Folding@Home project.

Not that big of a deal, since almost none of the games will support 1080p anyways (1080i will obviously be the max out of component), but still pretty pathetic.
