Take advantage of Verizon reaching further into your pocket to dump them altogether.
Quoted: If this all sounds a little familiar, it's because when Sprint did the same thing late last year, it didn't take long for people to figure out that the rate hikes amounted to a so-called "material change" to their contracts, meaning they could bail on it without paying an Early Termination Fee (EFT).

Interesting ... the endless Sportscenter plugs will not be missed.
Quoted: The planned shutdown of the Mobile ESPN cell phone service marks the first major bust in a rush of specialized wireless ventures targeting niche audiences they contend are underserved by the Cingulars and Verizons of the world.

You must be Derek's friend before you can comment on this Fave. With ESPN Mobile, you get all the joys of being a Sprint PCS customer (dropped calls, no coverage, lousy customer service), plus sports updates. Woo hoo.
lol
Ha, it's been years since I was rockin' the Sprint network ... they were alright back then ... and I figure they should have picked up some capability with the Nextel deal. Maybe not.
sprint's been ok in the city. only place i don't get reception is stevens pass and they don't have a BC affilate so no go in Vancouver either. works good in chicago. only complaints are the phones are fat and it usually takes them a year to get 'cool' phones, which are basically motorola imitations T.T
I heard many horror stories about Sprint several years ago but I switched over to them a couple of years ago and they have been the best carrier I have ever had. Their billing is actually accurate and predictable and the one time I called their Customer Support, I got great service.
