Another great Bravia ad -- high quality version hidden inside an annoyingly bulky and unnavigable Flash site @ http://bravia.sony.eu/bravia.html

Quoted: commercial filmed in nyc with stop motion giant clay rabbits. so fresh.

Sony's BD remote control for PS3 reviewed - Engadget

$30 is quite reasonable given that it's Bluetooth enabled. A PC driver should come soon, at which point I might pick one up for yet another control device in my media room.

    Sony BRAVIA - The Advert

The new BRAVIA ad is out today! Quicktime only (boo!), but they have a download option so you don't have to crash your browser to see it.

They need an extended version, like they had with 'Balls'.

Quoted: After the great success of 'Balls', the award winning advert for BRAVIA LCD televisions, Sony is now developing an exciting new campaign for the brand's most advanced LCD televisions to date. Award winning Director, Jonathan Glazer, will direct the ad, with a script written by Juan Cabral from Fallon, the agency behind 'Balls'.

Amazon.com: Sony VGP-XL1B2 Media Changer (also: VGP-XL1B): Computers & PC Hardware

Need to look at this vs. online storage. It can hold 200 DVDs or CDs. One extremely cool feature is you can load it with your CD collection and batch rip! It will also play DVDs via MCE's interface. Need to figure out how flexible it is ... SDK, alternate OS compatibility, etc. Tempting to wait for a BD version, but $399.99 after rebate isn't THAT ridiculous.

I could recover some of the cost by offering "CD ripping services" for people with big collections :)

    Sony BRAVIA - The Advert

This looks even more ambitious than the last Bravia commercial -- very much looking forward to this one.

Sony's (very cool) e-reader delayed again. Hmm, wasn't there another Sony product delayed to later this year?

Sony PDF showing that only the $599 version of the PS3 will have an HDMI output. Not that big of a deal, since almost none of the games will support 1080p anyways (1080i will obviously be the max out of component), but still pretty pathetic.

    Sony BRAVIA - The Advert

Very cool Sony commercial -- apparently done without special effects, making it all the more impressive.

Quoted: Sending 250,000 multi-coloured 'superballs' bouncing down the streets of San Francisco may seem the strangest way to do this, but that's exactly what Danish director ...

Report: Sony admits PS3 delay possible - News at GameSpot

Time will tell if the wait for Blu-ray was worth it. Microsoft looks smarter every day in this game.

Quoted: A Sony spokesperson is quoted in the article as saying, "The highest quality picture is vital to the PS3. There is a possibility of delay [to the launch] if delivery of parts is delayed."
