    Was always annoyed by this and just gave in by using an authenticated prompt ... didn't realize it was just using the file name to determine whether or not elevation was necessary. Probably would break a lot of installers without this behavior, but still -- wow.

    Very handy, this extended my NTFS partition that gparted couldn't see (RAID) instantly ... to maximize, just:

    list disk
    select disk 0
    list volume
    select volume 0
    extend
