Susan Boyle made a triumphant return to the stage after missing four concerts this week on the Britain’s Got Talent show’s live tour. It’s been a few months of exhausting worldwide fame and rehab, but finally last night Susan Boyle came back to Glasgow, where it all began. This time she wasn't auditioning, but returning as the undisputed star of the live tour of Britain’s Got Talent. The of crowd 9,000 rose to their feet and roared with joy as Susan walked onto the stage.
On television, her performances of “Memory” had sometimes been a bit shaky, but last night she belted out the song in a clear, powerful voice. The end of the song saw her second ovation as she took in the screams of fans of all ages. As the crowd roared on, Susan went straight into her signature tune, “I Dreamed A Dream,” and with more ovations and cries of “Susan, Susan” and “Subo Goan Yersel!” she waved happily to the crowd of enthralled admirers.

Susan Boyle silenced all of her critics when she appeared in the Britain’s Got Talent’s Concert Tour on Friday night in Birmingham, UK. Following a day of doubts as to whether Susan would actually appear to perform, she took to the stage belting out the hits “I Dreamed A Dream” and “Memory.”
The 48-year-old, who had stayed at The Priory to recover from exhaustion after finishing second in the talent show, had a rapturous greeting. Showing off a new hair color and style, Susan beamed at the audience during her opening number. During her performance, she blew a kiss to her adoring fans as they screamed and whistled. Winners Diversity may have opened the first night of the 29-venue tour, but it was definitely Susan Boyle who commanded the show.

The 48-year-old singer must wait until later tonight for the results of the public vote to be revealed. Boyle, wearing a sparkling floor-length gown, performed with confidence as she returned to the song that she sang at her first appearance on the show, “I Dreamed A Dream” from “Les Miserables.” Her performance was much more polished and animated than in previous performances. After her performance, Boyle acknowledged she had felt pressure building up in the weeks leading up to the finals. But Simon Cowell told Boyle, “Win or lose, you had the guts to come back here tonight, face your critics and you beat them.”
