Michael Jackson was honored on Tuesday at a memorial service held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, while millions of people watched the service on live television throughout the world. During the service, there were performances by Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Hudson, among others. Toward the conclusion of the Memorial Service, a medley of singers performed “We Are The World” beneath a giant image of the world, later joined by dozens of hand-holding, racially-inclusive children, to sing “Heal the World.”

The last video footage of the late Michael Jackson rehearsing for his upcoming London O2 Arena concert engagement was released today, July 2. In the video clip, the King of Pop is seen warming up with his back-up dancers at the Staples Center in Los Angles on June 23, just two days before his untimely death. Jackson sang “They Don’t Care About Us” from HIStory and showed his signature dance moves.
