There are several out-of-this-world motorcycles traveling amongst us. This is probably caused in part by the rapidly increasing sales that motorcycle-industry designers and executives are now enjoying, in turn due to the craziness of soaring prices at the gas pump.
To take advantage of this newfound popularity, motorcycle designers are introducing new ideas with many creatively original (and sometimes downright silly) approaches to design. There is a noticeable outpouring of radically different concept and production bikes hitting the scene, which certainly challenges our preconceived ideas about motorcycles as we have come to know them.
Many of these bikes are designed like pieces of art, with designers having a conviction that experienced and wealthy motorcyclists would like something more exclusive.
This article presents a number of remarkable photographs (cycling fans, especially, will enjoy them), as well as two videos and a wonderful photo-gallery that gives you some idea of just what some of these creatively futuristic, sometimes quite humorous, designs are like.

Sam Taylor-Wood is an English experimental photographer and filmmaker. "Crying Men" is her treatise about sadness. It has very recently been "discovered" in the United States and is attracting considerable attention.
Her series of photographs in "Crying Men" attempts to capture an unusual liminal space, the moment between the real and the unreal, the imitation and the authentic. By her deliberate use of celebrity actors as models, the viewer is led to wonder whether and to what degree their tears of sadness (and therefore their emotions) are genuine.
This article presents great photographs, a photo-gallery of all the "Crying Men" portraits and three videos. The videos include a video-slideshow of the "Crying Men" portraits and Taylor-Wood's short avant-garde film, "Pieta", which stars Robert Downey, Jr.

Maybe right now things look very cloudy. But what's the use of crying? Smile, and perhaps tomorrow you'll get to see the sun come shining through. This composition includes wonderful photographs, two music videos (Robert Downey Jr. singing "Smile" from "Chaplin" and Bright Eyes singing "First Day of My Life"), as well as a very touching photo-gallery.

Spin Cycle is an experimental film illustrating a creative fascination with the illusion of motion via animation. Exploiting the visually symbolic nature of white bread, as the film progresses it blooms with successive additions of color and texture, evolving into a dense and challenging cinematic experience.
