One of the most influential DIY labels west of the Mississippi has offered to distribute the debut release of one of my favorite folk bands out of Portland: K Records and Love Menu are now official buddies. Not quite a record deal, K will be selling the CD, Limerence, through their website for a wopping 10 dollars.

One of the only great bars left untouched by the influx of yuppies into Ballard. Bluegrass jams weekly as well as lots of otehr great live music.

Even though it was taken over by the devil, AEG, the Showbox still promotes some great local music
