Sweet! The Matador was voted best happy hour in Ballard for 2005. This is where I usually go after climbing with the climbing crew eager for a cold one and some greasy food. It's got that dim-light atmosphere, and looks actually rather... high class, therefore good for both hanging out and taking someone out for a date.

Me and James went here once for after climbing grubs, and they are one of the few late night places in Seattle (who's up for opening a late night sandwich joint with me?). I had the salmon burger and it was pretty good. Good happy hour prices, but the thing is you have to buy a drink too. And their wine is not that great, but I'm a wine snob :)
