Shannon came to visit me in Long Beach and we just walked around Belmont Shore and went to Buona Gente for dinner and had a bottle of Cab and the food was delicious and we laughed and drank and had a good time and now I am done.
Quoted: Buona Gente Reviews - "Buona Gente is great: a little hole in the wall, but some great food. I highly recommend the alfredo sauce on anything: it's some of the best anywhere. The atmosphere is good (quiet, dim, lots of people on the weekends) and…

I went to La Creperie Cafe on 2nd street for my 2nd 25th birthday dinner and had the seafood savory crepe. I could barely finish it. It was so rich and creamy. The atmosphere is fun but can get too loud if you are trying to have a long conversation. Their wine list is extensive and all wine bottles are half off on Monday nights. I met our waiter who's a Brazillian from Sao Paulo and also works as a photographer. I was able to say "thank you" in Portugese and that was an effort because I had a little too much of the "seven deadly zin" zinfandel.
Quoted: La Creperie Cafe Reviews - BEST CREPES EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR! these are just so good, SO decadent. Chef Parmetier is a genius! Why, these crepe are better than FRENCH CREPES! Been there done that. I tried crepe places in San Francisco (they have tons of crepe places) BUT NONE CAN COMPARE!
