This is how my brother and I got through Europe! We couchsurfed in practically every country we went to, and met tons of people this way.

It was wicked fun and I have made some friends for life from other countries.

In June a French guy named Ludovic Hubler crashed at my place in Fremont. He's on a mission to hitchhike around the world. I've had some people from Portland couch surf at my place, and I couchsurfed when I went to Utah to go climbing.

Overall, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.

This is my travelogue about a backpacking trip I took with my brother for three months in "old Europe".

I had lived there for a year when I studied abroad, and my brother had never been, so I wanted to show him what it's like across the Atlantic. We graduated from UW at roughly the same time, so before plunging in "the real world", we would just be bums.

Now that I'm in the proverbial real world, bumming around sounds .... bumtastic!
