This is amazing! "Cultural guerillas" sneaking into famous French landmarks to restore them. Their most recent coup is breaking into the Pantheon and fixing the gigantic clock. I would have loved to have seen the movie theater under the Seine.

Vandals broke into the Musée d’Orsay early Sunday morning, punching a 4 inch hole in a famous Monet painting as well as leaving "various bits of filth" before fleeing security guards.

I'm heading to Paris in November. It may be worth dropping by this fascinating looking house, The Maison de Verre, at 31 Rue Saint-Guillaume. It is apparently open for limited touring.
