It looks like there's now a rumor that iChat for Mac is getting a voicemail feature. Pretty interesting with the integrated isights on all those macs. It'd be kind of cool to get video messages from friends.

Looks like Apple's own dev support website leaked a bit about the forthcoming touchscreen ipod. Yowzah!

Quoted: Apple’s stock will benefit this year from new iPods, Intel-based Macs and the possibility of an Apple-branded cell phone, investment firm Piper Jaffray told clients this week. “We would be buyers of AAPL on the recent pullback given we believe iPod demand will accelerate in mid-CY06, based on upcoming positive seasonality and new form factor iPod’s,” Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster wrote in a research note sent to iLounge. “Additionally, we believe Apple will benefit from the new Intel-based Mac’s, along with what we estimate to be a 75% chance of a iPhone in the next 12 months.”

I think Apple taking over Disney would be very interesting and very lucrative (in the shorter term). I'm a Disney shareholder and an Apple fan. I think this move would make sense as it allows Disney to draft off a technical leader, especially in Hollywood (with Pixar a clear winner). Apple would get access to a ton of content it wants to serve on its media platform as well as real leverage into one of the largest corporations on the planet. Both companies are masterful marketers...

Apple to hold special event February 28th. Speculation, as always, is quite rampant.
