Wonderful. "Bring your daughter to war" day in Iraq. Love the Onion.

Hulu, run by former Amazonian Jason Kilar, seems poised to make ripples in the online video market. It sounds like a compelling list of features that the tv industry can get behind.
Quoted: OK, I will admit, I was busy sharpening up the knives at BoomTown HQ to prepare for the debut of Hulu this week. Let's just say that I have been dubious that two lumbering media companies--in this case, News Corp. (owner of this site!) and NBC Universal--could make more than a mishmash of premium video, especially given Hollywood's glacial and cloddish approach to the Web. Not so with regard to Hulu, whose name is still arguably as goofy as ever.

Um, great. Apple TV gets two new features, neither of which is higher quality video, even though they "require" hi definition tvs. Boo. How about fixing the Achilles heel rather than adding storage for more grainy video and a youtube plugin?
Quoted: Immediately after Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ demonstration of an Apple TV running YouTube videos at the All Things Digital Conference in Carlsbad, California, Apple formally announced the partnership via press release, along with an updated 160GB hard disk-ready version of Apple TV for a price of $399. The 160GB version of Apple TV will store up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs, 25,000 photos, or a combination thereof, promising four times the capacity of the original Apple TV at a $100 premium.

I wasn't aware that Obama has frozen out Fox News for reporting on him inaccurately and in a scurrilous manner. I think that's great.
Calling Fox's echo-chamber "news" is horribly inappropriate.
There is also a video on this page showing Barack's coverage on Fox to date.

I love retrospectives like this one. It looks back at all of Bush's past State of the Union Addresses and takes him to task for things falst statements. You'll notice that the subject matter of the incorrect statements all revolve around the same theme and continue to be incorrectly assessed to this day.
Quoted: Keith takes us on a stroll down memory lane to assess President Bush's credibilty when it comes to the State of the Union address.

A really nice blog writeup of Blue Dot, complete with images. The highlight is the mashup video. He uses our demo but recorded his own audio track!
Nice!
