When Jan and I were in Paris last week, she was quite enthralled by the "Le Chat Noir" posters. I wanted to look it up and see what they were ll about. Turns out that it was a late 19th-century cabaret and artist salon.

This is amazing! "Cultural guerillas" sneaking into famous French landmarks to restore them. Their most recent coup is breaking into the Pantheon and fixing the gigantic clock. I would have loved to have seen the movie theater under the Seine.

This one is for if I want to hit the Paris underground without a tour. How bad are Parisian jails?
Quoted: The zine about going places you're not supposed to go, like tunnels, abandoned buildings, rooftops, hotel pools and more.

I want to take the Paris Underground Tour next month when I go there.
Quoted: You may have done the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Élysées, but you haven't seen Paris until you've toured the city's sewers and catacombs.

You must be Eric's friend before you can comment on this Fave.we love renting apartments when we travel. We did this when we went to Lisbon and got a spacious apartment in a central location--and for much cheaper than staying in a hotel. Highly recommend.
:( wish i knew bout it too...
