Ajit Jain is considered to be a top-runner to replace Warren Buffett when he passes away. This is a great Bloomberg article on of the "guys behind the guy."
This is definitely one of the best snubs I have seen -
Quoted: ``It is undoubtedly the case that any disappointment I have caused you by declining the interview is far less than the disappointment I would have caused you by granting it.''

You have to scroll down more than half-way in the newsletter to see it but Chris Mayer has done a little write-up of this year's Berkshire Hathaway shareholders' meeting in Omaha.
Quoted: "What does Buffett, a long-time newspaper investor think? Buffett thinks the current woes are part of a longer-term trend that is not likely to reverse. And valuations on newspaper stocks don't reflect this."

A particularly good synapses of the world's greatest investor that appeared in the weekend edition of the Wall Street Journal. It's pretty great to read how a typical day at the Berkshire Hathaway office goes - take 13 phone calls from the managers of a few of your various businesses (one a wrong number) and call your broker to give advice on picking up a few hundred million dollars worth of a stock. Recommended reading.
