I think Apple taking over Disney would be very interesting and very lucrative (in the shorter term). I'm a Disney shareholder and an Apple fan. I think this move would make sense as it allows Disney to draft off a technical leader, especially in Hollywood (with Pixar a clear winner). Apple would get access to a ton of content it wants to serve on its media platform as well as real leverage into one of the largest corporations on the planet. Both companies are masterful marketers...

I really hope that Apple moves into the Home Media Server space. As somebody that uses one computer when I'm out and about and another computer when I'm home, I'm hating the human-error-prone ways I end up migarting my data. What a kludge.

Yay! I was just hoping that there would be a Sonos app for my phone a few days ago, lamenting it's lack to my houseguests and showing off the Apple controller instead.
Now I can control my house music from my phone and Rhapsody streaming has been improved. Thank you Sonos!

New iPhone software = tough gap for Blackberry to close. We can fight over which hardware is better (I do like keyboards) but there is no denying that iPhone software is superior and is building a huge developer lead in applications.
We have tons of people at work here at Amazon trying to track incoming iPhones to get them when they hit stores. A crew just left for Bellevue square a few minutes ago. I've never seen that for any Blackberry device.

You can use your jailbroken iphone to tether with your laptop. It's nice when you're in a pinch and need a wireless connection for your laptop.
