Awesome article on running Parallels. I think I am going to put this on my Mac soon now that the reviews are in and they appear to be so favorable.

Ars Technica exhibits its excellence once again and posts a wonderfully detailed look at the new Leopard OS for Mac. I picked up my family pack license but havevn't performed the install yet. That's my big plan for tonight, getting it installed on both my machines and seeing if the "Back to my Mac" feature works well enough to stream all my music from my home machine, wherever I'm at. We'll see!

I've been wondering what Mac was going to do to replace the 12" Macbook Pro that they removed from their line last year. That model was always one of my favorites and everyone I know that has owned one has absolutely loved it. I hope this rumor about a newer, ultra-mobile Mac is true.

I'm pretty excited about this. Sun Microsystems has joined the effort by assigning a couple developers to help port OpenOffice to the Mac.

Troubleshooting some X11 madness on my mac. I "upgraded" according to an automated system updater today and OpenOffice conveniently stopped working.
I believe the X11User.pkg was corrupt, so I removed it, but now I will have to reinstall when I get home tonight.

A great article on 3rd part software developers whose features were just *ahem* "incorporated" into the preview edition Mac OS X Leopard. I hope Apple works with these developers to keep them involved. I'd be kind of pissed to have my app ripped off by Apple...

You must be Eric's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Thanks- I am happy with bootcamp but making an immediate switch looks cool on the video. My concern is performance- have you heard anything?
Ohhh, now I see. The performance of Parallels (not the windows switching) has been quoted as 97-98% a normal windows amchine with similar specs. In other words, it's basically not noticeable.
