eric | Shared With: Everyone - Mar 29 2007 | business, startup, todoI may incorporate my personal company for tax reasons - mostly the fact that I am incurring real costs to run a hobby business which I hope will some day make money. Lifehacker has reviewed mynewcompany, a site where I can apparently get registered in 8-10 minutes.
Quoted: Computers make us more productive. Yeah, right. Lifehacker recommends the software downloads and web sites that actually save time. Don't live to geek; geek to live.

I played with Scrybe a couple months back and thought their product was pretty nice. They just closed a Series A financing round from Adobe and LKMR.

Seth Godin. Clear. Smart,

click to playDiscovered this video thanks to hahatango's blog. Great 39 minute presentation where Guy Kawasaki is eventually forced to leave the stage. A great set of knowledge and reminders for any startup company. Create something unique and something of value. Polarize people. It's a well-done keynote by an energetic Kawasaki.

eric | Shared With: Everyone - Sep 13 2005 | video, torrent, startup, software, businessI watched about the first half of the inaugural show last night and I have to say that NerdTV is great! This first episode with Andy Hertzfeld has a TON of information that is applicable to the startup environment. Thanks to Creative Commons licensing, you can torrent the file and watch it.
Hear how Steve Jobs personality is described as integral to the success of Apple. Hear how Bill Gates basically admits to having no sense of style. Highly Recommended.
The ongoing schedule for the show looks amazing as well. They're interviewing a guy I know and worked with at Amazon.com, Larry Tesler, November 15th. They've got Linus Torvals on November 29th. Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, November 22nd. The Woz on September 27th. Tonight they have PayPal co-founder Max Levchin.
