Um, great. Apple TV gets two new features, neither of which is higher quality video, even though they "require" hi definition tvs. Boo. How about fixing the Achilles heel rather than adding storage for more grainy video and a youtube plugin?

Office 2008 for Mac will have iPhone sync capabilities built in. I am looking forward to when Apple actually announces their licensing of the Microsoft AppleSync protocol (mentioned at the bottom of this story post).

I was enthusiastic about all the hacked improvements to an iPhone but it appears as if Apple is not going to allow them. This pushes any potential purchase for myself further out. Boooo Apple!

Piper Jaffray's Gene Munster believes that the current 300% uptick in iPhone sales since the recent $200 price drop is "not sustainable." Today, on NPR, however, I heard Steve Jobs claim that they'd sell 10 million of these bad-boys this year. Yowzah! Makes me wonder if Apple has more tricks up their sleeve for this holiday season or if business is just going to be flat out insane?
To date, iPhone has sold 1 million units in 2.5 months. To put that in perspective though, it took them 2 years to sell 1 million iPods.

Looks like we'll be seeing new Apple products (at least some new iPods) on September 5th. Talk about a company firing on all cylinders! This is a huge year for Apple and they're going to absolutely kill during holiday.

If these are the fabled forthcoming ipod nanos, I think they're going to sell like hotcakes.
It all hangs on the available storage size. They're going to need to get up in the 20GB Flash memory size to make it worthwhile IMO.

I did indeed. Apple TV just is not up to the snuff of their other products yet. There is a lot of promise and not much follow through.
