When Jan and I were in Paris last week, she was quite enthralled by the "Le Chat Noir" posters. I wanted to look it up and see what they were ll about. Turns out that it was a late 19th-century cabaret and artist salon.

This is amazing! "Cultural guerillas" sneaking into famous French landmarks to restore them. Their most recent coup is breaking into the Pantheon and fixing the gigantic clock. I would have loved to have seen the movie theater under the Seine.

Cool! What dates will you be in Paris? We're going to London on the 15th and then getting into Paris at some time on the 20th. We'll be in Paris from the 20th - 24th when we'll head up to Lille for a night and then back to London.
Who are you going with? It seems that we should at least meet up a bit, don't you think?
i will be there 22nd, 23rd, and 24th and am leaving on the 25th. i think i have a full day commitment on the 23rd but am otherwise free.
i'm going with a buddy of mine -- ian. we should definitely all meet up / travel together.
