I'm pretty excited about this. Sun Microsystems has joined the effort by assigning a couple developers to help port OpenOffice to the Mac.

Quicksilver is the best mac application ever - and it's free. Even though I love it, I always feel like I'm using only a small percentage of its capabilities. This link is to a page with many video tutorials. I should be wizard at this in no time!

This looks like a nice mind-mapping tool as a potential free replacment for the very expensive "Mind Manager." It looks like it should run on Mac and Windows since it's just java...
