The keynote addresses for CES 2007 are being lined up. Are we going to go again this year? Who wants to go to Vegas and check out more electronic goodness?

The Sony site for their new reader. I saw this in person at CES and liked it quite a lot. Probably the first one that I think might be worth the price and have enough content for sustained effort in this space.

My favorite innovation at this year's CES was the x-fi card from Creative. It really has to be heard to be believed. You can get 7.1 sound out of a standard set of headphones!

The DirectTV player is pretty cool but what's even cooler is that the screen is showing a big picture of Mt. Shuksan from right here in the North Cascades! Booyah! Washington represent.

Might be worth a stop by Creative's booth to get a sample of the 7.1 surround sound coming out of your headphones...
