Noted Booker Prize-winning author Yann Martel has vowed to send a book every other week to Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper. This week's selection? "Animal Farm."

Another oceanside community on the Sea-to-Sky highway. These guys had great condos a few years ago but now I think there are just luxury homes for sale.

Porteau Cove is on the Sea-to-Sky Highway in British Columbia. It's one the way to Whistler and within an easy drive of Vancouver. Not much other info yet but I'll be interested in seeing how much these will cost.

Whistler is 3rd on the list of 10 greenest ski resorts. As they said on Treehugger, "while skiing may not be the greenest pasttime, they sure are the most concerned with global warming."
