The point of the article is that if you look at the couple of points where George Bush has made definitive moves have been repeat performances of post 9/11. Halliburton is already back into the mix getting no-bid contracts, along with Bechtel, etc. George has also suspended the David-Bacon act to make that deal better for Halliburton and their peers. Now those companies don't even have to pay prevailing wage to build back New Orleans. This is looking really bad for the folks in New Orleans. Anyone want non-full-time contracting work for less than $9 an hour working for the greedy, evil companies, aka "the man"? That ought to help pull your family up above the poverty level (that's sarcasm btw). Sigh...
