Ken, Deb and I ate here last night and it was absolutely fantastic sushi, probably the best I have had in Seattle. The place is pretty down to earth in terms of its style but the menu is irreverent, calling out the music is chef's choice, you should be considerate while talking on your phones, and that the chef is happy to take questions about sushi and motorcycles. All this and they have a great domain name to boot.

I had a standard chef's assortment of rolls and nigiri with an upgrade to the geoduck roll. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. My stomach is grumbling just thinking about it.

I don't know how we missed this lunch spot the whole time I worked at Blue Dot. It's one-block off the main Pioneer Square neighborhood.

Cheap sandwiches, ultra-fast, fresh and inexpensive (sandwiches are $3.50 to 3.75 for a full). Just remember to bring cash and be prepped for brusque service. I had a great ham and swiss sandwich and a cup of navy bean soup.

Quoted: The turkey sandwich is definitely worth the hype: Whole turkeys are roasted every night and the sandwich is filled with large, moist chunks of the stuff, recalling day-after-Thanksgiving munchies. Succulent meatloaf makes another popular sandwich. Soups rotate daily, but the turkey noodle and feisty chili are mainstays. The home-style apple pie, blessed with large chunks of apple, is a worthy end to lunch.

I'm going to meet up with some Amazon.com friends for drinks here tonight, I've heard good things about the view and the food. We shall see!

This is where we had lunch today. The food was great, large portions at a reasonable price (between 9-12 bucks).
