If only I could navigate my own book library with an ereader and add my titles to carry around digitally, I"d be psyched. You hear that Amazon? You can start by just making available all of those books I've already bought from you...

I'd really like to be able to get ANY book on a reader device and bypass the whole wasteful paper thing. If this CNet post is true, Google is working n making this closer to happening.

Sony finally announces that their reader is coming and all of a sudden you start seeing the next-gen. We're going back to the old school for this one folks! Scrolls!

Looks like Amazon's new digital video download store may be the first of more download stores and that there may be hardware devices associated with each. I remember seeing a rumored Amazon video player and mp3 player. Now we have an e-book reader. This thing is utilitarian as hell and ugly but I'm guessing that just might be the test model? I'll hope...

The Sony site for their new reader. I saw this in person at CES and liked it quite a lot. Probably the first one that I think might be worth the price and have enough content for sustained effort in this space.
