The Raw Story | Cheney's Halliburton stock options rose 3,281% last year, senator finds

If I were a cynical bastard, I would have invested in Halliburton when Bush/Cheney got elected to the Oval Office. I thought about it, justifying it by saying that I'd use proceeds to do everything possible to subvert whatever they were doing.

Presidents and their cabinet should not be allowed to maintain a financial interest in comapny stocks while in office. That just seems pretty clear and unambiguous. How can Cheney justify making nearly $8million on this?

Quoted: The Raw Story is a liberal alternative to the Drudge report, culling news, arts and business reporting from around the world.
