    Kokoromi Collective - Fez

kokoromi is making a very cool looking new game called "fez." Fez has the look of a standard pixelated platformer, replete with cutesy characters and whimsical worlds. The key difference is that it gets rendered to play as a 3d game. Nifty.

    Quoted: Experiment!

A funny game where you have to kill yourself in 5 minutes using co-workers and office supplies from the office before being forced to go to another meeting.

Quoted: You'd rather kill yourself than go to another stupid meeting – and you've only got five minutes before the next one! Stick it to the Man by sticking it to yourself.

CrunchGear » Blog Archive » Gear of War Banned In Germany

Forthcoming XBox 360 title "Gear of War" has just been offiically banned in Germany due to its violence. You can't buy this kind of publicity!

This makes me think of two things:

    1) I'm buying an XBox 360 this holiday and this may have to be the first title I pick up.

    2) Perhaps we can get Kazakhstan to ban Blue Dot so that we can ride the PR wave...

Apparently Chris (user:x) didn't get in to the site far enough to see the "even more beautiful" rock paper scissors game with 25 variations!

    Yikes!

The guy who invented this has far too much time on his hands. Get it? On his hands!? Har-dee-frickin'-har.

CrunchGear » Blog Archive » How to Never Lose at Roulette Again

There is a new device which helps in roulette prediction. Skilled players appear to need to scan the roulette wheel first (basically scope it out for certain pattern behaviors). After that, this device apparently can increase the likelihood of your predictions coming true.

Quoted: Using this, a guy can gain from 20% to 100% over the casino, depending on how skilled he is. We wouldn’t recommend buying one and using it in Vegas, however. Not if you value your arms.

A new "indie label" for games. A lot of these look pretty great and non-traditional.

Quoted: The machinery of gaming has run amok.

Quoted: Instead of serving creative vision, it suppresses it. Instead of encouraging innovation, it represses it. Instead of taking its cue from our most imaginative minds, it takes its cue from the latest month's PC Data list. Instead of rewarding those who succeed, it penalizes them with development budgets so high and royalties so low that there can be no reward for creators. Instead of ascribing credit to those who deserve it, it seeks to associate success with the corporate machine.

Quoted: It is time for revolution.

Let the games begin! 1...2...3... RELAX! I said RELAX!

Quoted: Simmer Down Sprinter is a two player, sit-down, arcade style video game I designed and programmed in which players compete to move runners around a track. The game is controlled by player’s bio-feedback. The more relaxed the player becomes, the faster the runner moves around the track. Essentially it is a game of competitive relaxation.
