As Sung Park would say, "Holy Poop." John Doerr, legendary VC, took the stage to announce $100 million in fund to develop apps on the iPhone platform. That's a big deal. The iPhone will transform the mobile experience in the next 12 months much more than it has since it was introduced.

How to View TiVo Recordings on Your Mac or iPod | Mac Geekery

Getting shows off your tivo and onto a mac or ipod. The Tivo series 3 was not approved with tivotogo which exists on the series 2. Major bummer that we have to resort to the command line to get this all done now.

Update: just found that tivo series 3 is getting tivotogo in November. I'll stop my whining until I see what sort of DRM it comes with!
